I live in Campbeltown near the Mull of Kintyre in Argyll, Scotland, with my husband and 3 young children. We moved here over 7 years ago and we absolutely love this place. It is the back of beyond but with sandy beaches 10 minutes drive away, stunning scenery on our door step - it's worth the trek.
I was born in Hong Kong but lived most of my life in London. It was over 11 years ago, when I married my Scottish husband, I abandoned the city life and moved to Scotland. I fell in love with Scotland from the moment I first set foot here, back in my single days. I still can't believe how blessed I am to end up living here let alone marrying a Scot! I can't imagine living anywhere else now.
Card making has always been a passion of mine. There is something about working with paper that really appeals to me. I have kept all, well may be not all but certainly most of the cards that anyone has given to me over the years. I think the oldest ones I have date back to the early 1980s - all in my loft!
I enjoy coming up with new ideas and always try to improve on my designs. I am a bit of a perfectionist, sometimes to my detriment, but I am very meticulous and conscientious about my work and I am my own worse critic. However, it does mean, I will not let a card go unless I am happy with it.
It is a wonderful feeling to know that your creation has brought a smile to someone's face and brightened up someone's day.
